What do you think a campus leader should embody at Grambling State??

Campus leaders at GSU & any other university should embody responsibility, integrity, and influence. These qualities are very significant because there are many ups and downs that come with being a student.

How do you feel about women in leadership roles versus men?

I feel although we are empowering in different fields every day, we still have a long way to go because we are still underrepresented in some places.

What advice would you give to a woman that has issues with her self esteem?

My advice would be to keep swimming, self love takes time and care and it is ok if you are there with yourself yet. Saying your prayers, supporting others, and giving always makes a difference and could help someone to feel 10 times better.

What was the hardest part about your freshman year?

My hardest part about my freshman year was adjusting to a whole different environment. I was challenging socializing every day without getting tired, being homesick, and being lonely at times. Eventually, I overcame this and became very comfortable with my new scenery.

List Goals and Aspirations

When I decided to go to college, I knew I wanted to help people like my family,

who needed help understanding and staying up to date on Information Systems. I chose

to become a IT Specialist because I can practice IT without charging a fortune for

my services. IT Specialists are particularly beneficial in rural communities where

Information Technology developers and large tech companies are limited or

non-existent.
